The Bundala National Park Morning Safari is a 4-hour private wildlife experience, offering an exciting opportunity to explore one of Sri Lanka’s most important wetland and bird habitats. The safari is especially popular for sightings of migratory and resident birds, along with elephants, crocodiles, deer, wild buffalo, and other wildlife. The experience begins early, with hotel pickup around 5:15 AM, followed by entry into the park at approximately 6:00 AM. From 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM, enjoy a comfortable 4WD jeep safari through wetlands, lagoons, grasslands, and scrub forests. During the cooler morning hours, visitors can enjoy excellent opportunities for birdwatching, wildlife photography, and exploring Bundala’s beautiful natural landscapes.
