The Kaudulla National Park Morning Safari is a 4-hour private wildlife experience, offering an exciting opportunity to explore one of Sri Lanka’s remarkable elephant habitats. The safari is especially popular for sightings of wild Asian elephants, along with deer, wild buffalo, monkeys, crocodiles, and various bird species. The experience begins early, with hotel pickup around 5:15 AM, followed by entry into the park at approximately 6:00 AM. From 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM, enjoy a comfortable 4WD jeep safari through grasslands, forests, wetlands, and areas surrounding the Kaudulla Reservoir. During the cooler morning hours, visitors can enjoy excellent opportunities for elephant watching, wildlife photography, and exploring Kaudulla’s beautiful natural landscapes.
